Celebration & Excitement
The Pan-African Cultural Festival celebrates its 23rd anniversary this year over the Memorial day weekend, from Saturday, May 25th to Monday, May 27th, and people from all over Southeast Texas are expected to enjoy the awesome events and the special feeling shared at Houston's major Black cultural gathering of the year. The people in the Greater Houston Area have cherished the Pan-African Cultural Festival as a uniquely warm and safe environment in which the entire family can enjoy the art, craft, flavors colors, laughter and love of the African Diaspora family. We will gather at the Miller Outdoor Theatre area in Hermann Park, Houston, Texas.

This year's theme of the Pan-African Cultural Festival is "Shades of Black Give Life to the Future". The organizers of this event believe that by developing  and nurturing healthy partnerships, we will be able to continue our on-going efforts to revitalize, rebuild and strengthen our communities.
